Regarding auto-discovery: have a look into our manual here for creating well-known paths or SRV/TXT records:
It can make things really easy for users 🙂
I can’t see events in the calendar application. I’m using DavDroid to connect and sync two calendars and Tasks Lists of an Horde Server.
First I create the DavDroid account, then select the Calendars and Task Lists to synchronization. The first synchronization executes, but I can’t see the events in the calendar applicaction.
I can perfectly see all the events of the calendars with lightning and from the Horde web interface.
When I creeate a new event from the Android device, I CAN see the event and the synchronization works. But I don’t see the others events in the calendar.
In the synchronization logs of CaldDav the only error message that appeared are:
getcontenttype(DAV:): GetContentType(type=text/calendar; charset=utf-8)] [error] Received invalid iCalendar, ignoring [error] Received invalid iCalendar, ignoring [error] Received invalid iCalendar, ignoring
The versions of the systems and applications are this one:
Horde Server 5.2.8
Tasks (nag) 4.2.6
Calendar Kronolith 4.2.11
The same problem occurs with a Cyanogen system with the same version of the applications involved.
I would appreciate any advice.

It seems like your iCalendar files are invalid. Can you please post an example of an iCal event? (You may have to enable verbose logs)
I’ve attached one calendar event
I’ve just send you the complete logs to email@example.com
Your Horde sends invalid VTIMEZONE data. This has already been discussed here. Please report this bug to the Horde community.
