Right now, the only way I can see to do this is to delete the account and re-create it. This is a horrible usability problem.

What version of zimbra do you use?
Can you provide a test accounts or send us logs? Otherwise we cannot reproduce this. Our zimbra test account works fine.

No, scheduling is not supported. Android doesn’t provide the API for that. It could not only be done by a CalDAV synchronizier like DAVx⁵, but would require interaction with the calendar app etc.
