Since changing the colour of a calendar with solcalendar every attempted calendar sync reports “unfortunately davdroid has stopped”, calendar not synced…
Fairphone 1 / Fairphone OS 1.3 / Android 4.2.2
Usng Davdroid 188.8.131.52 on an Xperia C2005 (Android 4.3) to a Zimbra Caldav/Carddav server.
All works perfectly, but I am using filters on the stock address books as I only want subsets of contacts (server based groups, per your recommendation) in my address books to show in my contacts list.
Each time the sync runs, the filter for “All other contacts” under each account is reset - i.e. “all other contacts” get re-enabled and show up in my contacts list.
Attached photo shows the selection I want to keep. I cant see anything that appears particularly relevant in the debug log. Is there a workaround?
@phneutre Hi, yes this is the right place for everything - even for reporting possible bugs or issues 😉
However I just tried it and it works as expected. The sync will be scheduled immideately after you either change the value or remove the value. As long as the orange bar moving around above your calendar list the sync is running. When removing the value so that the “Past time event limit” option is empty you need to give the sync some time to complete, because it then needs to sync your all your events of all calendars - that can be a lot of data and the device needs to process it, too.
