If you’re upgrading from DAVdroid 0.9.x there are migration routines that try to update all your settings and resources to the newest version. If you previously had an alpha or beta version, you need to uninstall and reinstall the latest version.
"E/A-Error: Cannot verify hostname" Owncloud + Android 5.0
The error message after pressing the “forward”-Button:
“E/A-Error: Cannot verify hostname: liberty42.de”
- Own Root Server
- Debian Wheezy
- OwnCloud 7.0
- StartSSL Certificate with RSA4096 and SHA-512 for liberty42.de
- Nexus 5
- Android 5.0
I considered to switch from CalDAV-Sync and CardDAV-Sync because your app is available via F-Droid and is FLOSS. Two very important arguments to prefer DAVdroid However, I had to switch back to CalDAV-Sync and CardDAV-Sync because DAVdroid is not working for me
Please install the certificate as described in the StartSSL manual - the intermediate certificate is missing and the chain thus invalid.
Congratulations to fixing it
