Self-signed Cert workaround needed
-
Hello,
I have a calendar service running on a mac mini server (Yosemite) and I would like to connect my Android phone to it using DAVdroid.
Problem is: my self-signed certificate is not accepted and I cannot import it using CAdroid because its “Basic Constraints” property is not set to CA:TRUE.
Now, I cannot create such a certificate with Mac Server, it does not allow certificates with this flag set to be used for ssl connections. So… I don’t know…
Is there a workaround possible here?
Thanks
PS Yes I have read http://davdroid.bitfire.at/faq/entry/importing-a-certificate

Please follow up in #3.

Is it not able to create such certificates, or does it forbid using such certificates (when you create them with other tools)?
