Same as https://forums.bitfire.at/topic/2136/lists-syncing-contents-not? Can you provide logs? Without verbose information, we’re not able to say “why”.
thanks for your work on this amazing app. It’s essential on my phone to sync all the information to my other devices.
I have configured DAVx to sync in my home network only. All permissions are granted to check location and so on.
When Andriod is in power saving mode I am asked to check the permissions for DAVx. The information is therefore somewhat misleading. I think DAVx is not able to check the SSID because location information is not given in power saving mode.
I don’t know if there is any way to detect the reason of refused location information
@stefnet00 Hi! Can you please share the debug info of that device (found in the DAVx5 settings). Which kind of power saving mode do you use?
Has been a while, but now I got the debug info and log file. I have noticed its not related to the power saving mode only. It also happens with power saving mode turned off.
I can only find the line “Can’t access WiFi SSID, aborting sync” in the logs but no further information.
@stefnet00 Are your location services active?
Yes, they are active.
@stefnet00 The line “Can’t access WiFi SSID, aborting sync” is generated here:
On Android 10, there can be two causes:
So it must be one of these reasons…
By the way, there should also be a “missing permissions” notification in this case. Does it appear?
Yes, I get this "missing permission"notification. But all permissions are granted. It means my location service is somehow inactive some times. Don’t know how this happens. I usually don’t switch it off. Probably it’s more related to LineageOS instead of DAVx?
@stefnet00 yes it seems so, we got another report like yours a while ago, also running Lineage
@devvv4ever Only a short note. I realized that it happens often when my cloud computer is offline and my phone is connected my local WiFi (set as sync SSID).
