I could reproduce the problem, which is exactly as said as above. I have contacted Doodle about it.
Also, ical4android has been modified to be more robust in such cases. The changes will be incorporated into the next DAVdroid version.
Hello, and thanks for your nice work !
I just changed my phone, and can’t success to synch my Caldav Calendar.
I do not have any pop up error.
It’s working on my old phone and on my wife’s phone so server problem i suppose…
I can see the accounts in the Android menu : user and account. Synch is activated.
When I lauch google agenda for exemple (or another calendar), i cannot see my caldav account.
Thanks for your help !
Maybe try to activat verbose logging and see what happens when you press the sync button. You can then post the log here or send it via forum chat message. I will have a look at it.
Thanks for your answer.
Here is what i try, but without success… I hope it’s what expected.
Did you try the foreground notification setting in DAVx5?
In davx5, notification menu, it’s all activated
Maybe also this information helps: https://dontkillmyapp.com/oppo
I think i did what’s written…
@pye06600 I had the same problem, I think it’s the new android update to ColorOS7.1 for Oppo , ColorOS3.0 on an older phone works fine.
For me, loading the available address/calendar list is fine and I can see the request at the server, but for sync there is no request from the phone… Something is being blocked for webdav sync?
@pye06600 Thanks for the logs. There is indeed no sync started.
The sync is managed and started by the operating system, so maybe they have again broken something to “save battery”. This should then apply to all apps with accounts, e.g. email (except when they whitelist those apps explicitly).
@rfc2822 Thanks for your answer. I finally brought the phone back to the store (lost 20% :-() and bought another one.
It’s works fine now, with this new phone.
Have a good day !
@pye06600 Good to hear. Maybe there will be some new information for Oppo as soon as someone finds out how to activate apps like DAVx⁵ again.
