Additional calendars / task lists created on server are not being detected
fred last edited by rfc2822
Running 3.3.9-ose from F-Droid.
I have about 7 task lists, 2 calendars and 3 subscription calendars.
On DAVx⁵ only my Personal (default) task list is being detected and for my calendar, only Personal (default) and the systematically created Contact birthdays is being detected.
If I create a new calendar on my phone, it will be synchronised to the server. It is not possible to create new task lists via OpenTasks (only local ones), so I can not test that.
But I usually create my content on the Nextcloud server website, for it to be then synchronised to my mobile device.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
@fred Did you refresh the calendars/address books in the DAVx5 account view?
@rfc2822 I did multiple times. I also waited 24 hours for the automatic refresh.
Nothing changed. Any additional calendar, calendar subscription or task list I make on the website, will not synchronise to the device. It simply does not appear in the list.
My setup if you want to try to simulate my environment:
LineageOS 17.1 (Android 10) without Google Apps
woelkli.com Free Account
DAVx⁵ 3.3.9-ose (F-Droid)

@fred I just “swiped down to refresh” instead of clicking on the refresh button, and now they appeared.
Is there any difference in this?
Anyway, it is working now. Thanks for the quick response.
@fred There is no refresh button. The button enqueues synchronization, which is something different than refreshing collections. See here for more info: https://www.davx5.com/manual/accounts_collections.html#refreshing-the-collection-list
