Good evening,

why does dav tell me, after installing app, there is no caldav or carddav, trying to synchronize the apps ?

Hi,

If you click on “Show details” in the “No CardDAV/CalDAV service found”-dialog, you’ll see a full log with all information.

@Aurel-P This is always occuring when you import erroneus vcf directly into the Synology. Synology does not correct these vcfs and on DAVx5’s request the server crashes by delivering these data.
Please delete the address book. Create an empty one and make a DAVx5 account connected to this new address book. Then import the vcf files directly on Android into this new account. Synchronize Then it should work.

"Login with email" only tries the full email, can it also try with the local-part of it?

So I assume that DAVDroid SHOULD try to login with my “name”.

Is it possible to add this fallback?

I don’t know. I didn’t find the time yet to investigate, and it would certainly change the resource detection logic. High-quality pull requests are always welcome 🙂

Of course login with email would be cool for OwnCloud too, but I didn’t find the time yet to implement checking email address AND local-only part now and I consider it not that high-priority.
