Seems to be working now (latest DAVdroid version). We will add mail.ru to our list of tested services.
CalDAV Calendar won't show from Mailfence server
-
I have used DAVx5 on my Huawei Mate 20 X for a couple of months now and it is working fine.
But when I installed it on my new Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e (Android 10) and LG G8X ThinQ (Android 9) this week, the CalDAV calender from my Mailfence account does not show in the calendar list , only the CardDAV at the contacts.
I have tried re-installing DAVx5, clearing app data, cache, removing account and re-entering but it does not show up. App permissions are set correctly. So I looked up other CalDAV apps in the Play Store and found OpenSync. This looks suspiciously like DAVx5 and has not been updated since April 2017 but this does show the CalDAV with the exact same account details.
When I manually try to create a Calendar in DAVx5 the Storage Location shows up correctly but I get an error when I click CREATE.
So I think my issue has to do with DAVx5, right?

Is it possible that there was just a (temporary) network problem when you set up the account with DAVx5, but not when you used the non-maintained fork OpenSync?
-
No, just tried it again and still no Calendar.
-
I see. Then I would need verbose logs of the detection process.

After installing an older version (2.3-gplay) it was working again and after installing version 2.6.1.1 over version 2.3, it is still working.
So all is fine now. -
Should work with 2.6.3-beta6 again. Can you please check (join DAVx⁵ beta on Google Play)?

Google Play only has 2.6.3-beta4 from 30 December?

@Flavio We have released beta5 and beta6 today, so it should be available soon.
