When I select an ics file on the default file manager, ICSx5 doesn’t show up in the list of apps to choose. My Android version is 9.
Where is the ics file located? How is it named?
@rfc2822 well nothing that I know of. I tend to be rather conservative on what I install (mostly F-Droid stuff).
@armadillo Synchronizing events (and tasks) is a very complicated task and it’s not done with simple copy operations. All the complex operations and requirements are best covered by a separate protocol – as CalDAV.
This should hopefully be fixed with https://gitlab.com/bitfireAT/davx5-ose/commit/c9dab31067a186a6d4ca33cd742fedc8465ecf29.
