The issue has been fixed in upstream, it works now. Will be available in the next DAVdroid release.
Addressbook's URL update

Hello everyone,
DAVx5 on Android is very useful to me, I’m very happy about it. But something goes wrong: I had a previous adressbook (say https://framagenda/org/remote.php/dav/Addressbooks/user/myName/ContactFolder-Friends/), it appeared on DAVx5 under the name ‘ContactFolder-Friends’. I had to change some features of it on the server, and to this purpose I created a brand new folder, deleting the previous one, but keeping the same name:‘ContactFolder-Friends’. My server allocated a new URL address for this folder - say https://framagenda/org/remote.php/dav/Addressbooks/user/myName/ContactFolder-Friends1/. That’s great.
But now, DAVx5 doesn’t update the URL of this new addressbook! I can’t change it. I can’t create a new one - I want to connect to the existing one, which doesn’t seem to be recognized…
I hope one can grasp my problem and help me… Thank you in advance…

@rfc2822 Thank you for the quick answer. I had already refreshed using the “update the adressbook’s list” item in the topright menu. The wrong URL didn’t change. It tells it is impossible to refresh… which is strange for it works very well with DavCal (same server, login, pwd…)

@BenF Can you please post the details of the error message (just tap on the notification, then Share)?
As a workaround, you could delete the DAVx⁵ account and create it again, but that shouldn’t be necessary.

Thanks for helping! I use a french version; telling “La détection du service a échoué; impossible d’actualiser la liste de collection”. Which can approximatively be translated by “Service detection failed; impossible to refresh collection’s list”

Thanks, actually I just tried to remove my account and create a new one on DavX5… and everything works well. It took be about 10mn. That’s great. Thank you for your concern!!
