DAVx5 stopped syncing
I’ve been able to sync DAVx5 with a Nextcloud 14 server on a local network until some weeks ago.
Suddenly my caldav account refuses to sync with the server.
Funnily enough, I’m able to refresh the calendar using the appropriate menu option.
Browsing the http server’s access log file, I don’t see any entry related to the caldav syncing, while I can see some entries related to the calendar refresh:
192.168.1.13 192.168.1.33 - [20/Apr/2019:19:24:40 +0200] "PROPFIND /nextcloud/remote.php/caldav/principals/f5ec8960-0e4a-45c b-a56f-1949220257b5/ HTTP/1.1" 207 601 "-" "DAVx5/126.96.36.199-ose (2019/04/05; dav4jvm; okhttp/3.12.1) Android/8.1.0" 192.168.1.13 192.168.1.33 - [20/Apr/2019:19:24:41 +0200] "PROPFIND /nextcloud/remote.php/caldav/calendars/f5ec8960-0e4a-45cb -a56f-1949220257b5/ HTTP/1.1" 207 5947 "-" "DAVx5/188.8.131.52-ose (2019/04/05; dav4jvm; okhttp/3.12.1) Android/8.1.0"
I can access my Nextcloud server web interface from my mobile phone, and other applications are able to sync with it, like Evolution or Kontact.
This is my device’s debug info:
And this is the DAVx5 log after a syncing attempt followed by a calendar refresh action:
I’ve noticed that the syncing action seems to come from 172.18.172.110 (according to DAVx5 log) while the calendar refresh come from 192.168.1.13 (according to http server log). Could that be related to my problem?
Any help is appreciated.

Seems to be a connectivity problem. Are you on WiFi? Can you access the CalDAV URL from your Android browser?
Thanks for your response.
I’m on a local network. Whenever I need to sync, I turn on WiFi and disable mobile data. This is the way I’ve been syncing successfully for some years, until this issue started to occur.
I’m able to access my Nextcloud server’s web interface, I can also refresh the calendar, as I said in my post. And certainly I can reach the CalDAV URL from my browser (I get an error about the GET method not being supported, as expected).

Browsing the http server’s access log file
You should also post the appropriate entries in error.log (if any).
There are no errors.
