Thanks, it’s also the issue I was having. Instead of giving internet access to uid 1000, I just did “settings put global captive_portal_mode 0” (recent android)
Agreed it would be useful to add this in the FAQ
I have an older Synology NAS that does not support the Collaboration suite. I have setup a calendar and set the CalDAV flag. I cannot access this calendar using DAVx5, but it works with Lightning in Thunderbird. The contacts in the NAS work on both the phone and Thunderbird.

The logs say, that “bfwcserver” couldn’t be resolved in your network. Maybe you have a typo or so? Try if it works by using the IP address directly (just for testing). You should of course go with the name instead of the IP address later.

@devvv4ever Sorry for the delay in responding. I used the IP instead of the name, but I get the same result.
