As neither the warnings for the missing permissions nor the verbose logging did function, I reinstalled the app and now everything works fine :)
Maybe something went wrong during the first installation. Thanks a lot for your support!
I have an older Synology NAS that does not support the Collaboration suite. I have setup a calendar and set the CalDAV flag. I cannot access this calendar using DAVx5, but it works with Lightning in Thunderbird. The contacts in the NAS work on both the phone and Thunderbird.

The logs say, that “bfwcserver” couldn’t be resolved in your network. Maybe you have a typo or so? Try if it works by using the IP address directly (just for testing). You should of course go with the name instead of the IP address later.
