I had the same problem where I was able to enter my account in davdroid and Davdroid itself successfully found all my calendars, however none of them would sync with the phone’s calendar programs (both the native calendar and e-tar). Seems like a bug / change in android 7 broke calendar syncing. I was unable to get davdroid to work for months, however now that there’s a new DAVx5 client I decided to try it. They fixed it! The link is broken in the fdroid repo’s BTW, however I managed to install davx5 manually and everything’s working. So if anyone else has the same issue, give the new davx5 a shot!
DAVDROID/TASKS Nextcloud not syncing after update
I updated Nexcloud server to version 14.0.3 and DAVDROID/TASKS is not syncing anymore with Nextcloud.
Please help, or let me know if this will be fixed soon.
DAVdroid is working with Nextcloud here fine. There are no known reasons why it shouldn’t work anymore. It’s probably a server problem.
Please have a look at https://www.davdroid.com/faq/how-to-debug/ and provide steps to reproduce, Web server and CalDAV/CardDAV server logs taken while the problem occurs, DAVdroid debug info (DAVdroid / Settings / Debug info) and verbose DAVdroid logs etc as described in [READ BEFORE POSTING] What’s required to diagnose a problem.
Thank you for your response. It helped me to track the issue which it is now resolved.
@paula Great, thank you for the update. What was the solution to your problem?
@devvv4ever For some reason after I updated Nextcloud, Davdroid was marking that it was syncing but Opentasks couldn’t connect properly and wasn’t registering any changes made on NC, and when adding a task with Opentasks, they didn’t upload to NC either.
What I did to start the troubleshot was to uninstall Opentasks and reinstall it. After that all worked fine:)
