I get it done by changing the SYNCTOKEN_PREFIX form the SabreDav Doc to the nextcloud one according this link :
https://github.com/nextcloud/3rdparty/blob/master/sabre/dav/lib/DAV/Sync/Plugin.php
Hope it helps.
Hello,
I’m using DAVdroid (on Samsung Galaxy S8) to connect my Calendar on Synology NAS. It works like a charm following this guide here: https://www.davdroid.com/tested-with/synology/
Now I’m trying with the cardDAV Server for a few hours and I’m always getting “Couldn’t find CalDAV or CardDAV service”.
For base URL I set: https://myserver.me:8443/addressbooks/users/myname , but it will not connect. Also tried with HTTP and port 8008 or by adding the addressbook at the end or URL. No luck.
If I enter the base URL in a browser on my desktop I can see files and my addressbook there. I can also set up connecttion with this base URL in my desktop email client.
I hope for some help here.
Regards
FYI, I just use another app for my phone to sync contacts and it works. I still use DAVdroid for my Calendar.
What happens if you put that URL in the mobile device browser?
Please send us the log that is created when you try to login. Our email address: play@bitfire.at
I can access the address book normally if I but that base URL to my mobile device browser.
I’ll send the log via email.
Can you please try with DAVdroid 2.0.3? URL seems OK: https://xxx:8443/addressbooks/users/xxx
It seems you’re using 2.0.2, and there was a fix regarding such problems in 2.0.3. (However, it works with 2.0.2 here, too, so maybe it’s another problem.)
If DAVdroid 2.0.3 doesn’t solve the problem, can you maybe provide a temporary test account which is accessible over the Internet so that I can have a look?
If I look on Google Play there is version 2.0.2 available only. How can I update to try?
@wwwampy We have forgotten to release 2.0.3 for 100% of users (still at 10 % for testing) .
I have now changed it to 100 %, so you should get the update very soon. You can force it with Google Play / ☰ / My apps and games / Updates: refresh button.
Can you access 2.0.3 now?
Not yet. When I get it I’ll test it and report back.
Ok, I’ve test it on 2.0.3, but still same error. I can send you log again if you wish.
@wwwampy Ok :/… can you maybe provide a temporary test account which is accessible over the Internet so that I can have a look?
You mean to create a user on my NAS?
@wwwampy Yes, a test user with address book and then make the CardDAV service (temporarily) available for access over the Internet.
Ok, where can I send credentials? So it’s not public…
@wwwampy To play@bitfire.at please
Sent…
Great, version 2.0.4 will work.
Thank you for great app!
@wwwampy Thanks for testing. We will release 2.0.4 soon!
