Thanks for your efforts, but this is a duplicate of #170.
Connecting DAVDroid with Opentasks
-
This is basic but I haven’t found any instructions on how to integrate DAVDroid with opentasks. I have installed DAVDroid and configured it to sync with my Nextcloud installation. I installed Opentasks after that but it has not given me any prompts on how to connect it to DAVDroid. It only shows local lists that I have to create.

On Android versions <6, you have to install OpenTasks before DAVdroid (Android limitation). DAVdroid should have shown a message about this.
Which Android version do you use? Did you try installing OpenTasks before installing DAVdroid?
-
@rfc2822 I am on Android version 7 (LineageOS) on a galaxy s5. I have also reinstalled DAVDroid version while opentask was installed.

Ok this should work (and works here). In this case, please provide steps to reproduce and DAVdroid debug info (DAVdroid / Settings / Debug info) as described in [READ BEFORE POSTING] What’s required to diagnose a problem.

How does it look when this works as it should? Do tasks come up in OpenTasks as if they are local tasks? I don’t even see an option in OpenTask to sync with DAVDroid.
-
OpenTasks provides its own Tasks storage, and we’ve implemented the possibility to sync with it. The Tasks are stored as VTODOs and are synchronized via CalDAV.
There is an image demonstrating all this here: https://www.davdroid.com/manual/introduction/#c197
Hope it helps

@devvv4ever I solved it. My DAVDroid account was named the same as my email ID on one occasion and “DAVDroid” on another occasion. I just changed it to just “Droid” and synced it again. Everything has started working now. Thank you.
