Hello @d3vid, you might like to try the changes I made in pull request 95, which use the newer Linux kernel ioctls for configuring uinput devices. I made the changes in response to the “missing tablet capabilities: resolution” error, just as you saw in your list-devices output. After the changes, my setup recognises the tablet and I see it in gimp and inkscape.
Wayland and MIR
So considering that x.org is going out the window fairly soonish I guess is there any intent to support Wayland on distros using that and possibly for Ubuntu folks the MIR display server?
The display server shouldn’t matter. GfxTablet only uses the Linux uinput subsystem.
Oh yeah I forgot about how things are changing used to be X.org did the input and all that crap but that’s going away Wayland ain’t it?
