Network Tablet: (EE) libinput bug: device does not meet tablet criteria

  • I see the following in Xorg.0.log:
[ 15171.706] (II) config/udev: Adding input device Network Tablet (/dev/input/event17)
[ 15171.706] () Network Tablet: Applying InputClass "evdev tablet catchall"

) Network Tablet: Applying InputClass "libinput tablet catchall"

    ) Option "Device" "/dev/input/event17"
    [ 15171.707] (**) Option "_source" "server/udev"
[ 15171.707] (II) event17 - (II) Network Tablet: (II) is tagged by udev as: Tablet
[ 15171.707] (EE) event17 - (EE) Network Tablet: (EE) libinput bug: device does not meet tablet criteria. Ignoring this device.
[ 15171.707] (II) event17 - (II) Network Tablet: (II) device is a tablet

[ 15171.748] (EE) PreInit returned 2 for "Network Tablet"
    [ 15171.748] (II) UnloadModule: "libinput"

In another topic I found a 10-evdev.conf file that I tried out, but adding it to my setup did not change anything.

    Any other ideas?
