DAVdroid 1.6
- [CardDAV] Support for partial dates, for instance birthdays without years (VCard4: native support, VCard3: X-APPLE-OMIT-YEAR parameter)
- [Account setup] Improved resource detection (now reads information from unrequested multi-status responses instead of discarding them)
- [Transport security layer] cert4android was rewritten in Kotlin (other libraries will follow)

DAVdroid is now written 100% in Kotlin!
- rewrite of complete app to Kotlin finished (UI rewritten)
- resource detection can now be cancelled (use the back button)
- race condition in certificate handling fixed
- other minor improvements and bug fixes

Strange, but me either.
I’ve tried upgrading on another device and it works. I’ve downgraded affected device (with app data loss) than upgraded — again, works. Play Store version.

Logs: Illegal property [ T TEST TEST TEST TEST TEST TEST TEST TEST TEST TEST TEST TEST TEST TEST TES] in upper case, uploaded ics: test in lower case

No idea. I’d suppose that parser for some reason does not detects continuation lines and assumes that part of the line before ‘:’ is field title and converts it to uppercase. Haven’t looked into the code (I’m not familiar with Kotlin and Java), it’s just an assumption.

Of course. If you want to use an IP address as host name, make sure the certificate is issued for that (you may use a Subject Alternate Name). Otherwise, the certificate can’t be verified and will be rejected, of course: When you tell DAVdroid to connect to https://10.0.0.30 and the server identifies as “myhostname” instead of “10.0.0.30”, it could be a man-in-the-middle.
