It seems you didn’t run the networktablet executable in a linux terminal. You need to start this and leave the terminal open. Only then you’ll get a connection between tablet and you operating system.
XOrg bug - 'Network Tablet' does not meet tablet criteria.

So, this forum doesn’t seem very active, but let’s go anyway.
I don’t why but now Xorg is now rejecting the creation of the input device, saying it doesn’t match the criteria or something.[ 711.697] (II) config/udev: Adding input device Network Tablet (/dev/input/mouse1) [ 711.697] (II) No input driver specified, ignoring this device. [ 711.697] (II) This device may have been added with another device file. [ 711.765] (II) config/udev: Adding input device Network Tablet (/dev/input/event13) [ 711.765] (**) Network Tablet: Applying InputClass "evdev tablet catchall" [ 711.765] (**) Network Tablet: Applying InputClass "libinput tablet catchall" [ 711.765] (II) Using input driver 'libinput' for 'Network Tablet' [ 711.765] (**) Network Tablet: always reports core events [ 711.765] (**) Option "Device" "/dev/input/event13" [ 711.765] (**) Option "_source" "server/udev" [ 711.766] (II) input device 'Network Tablet', /dev/input/event13 is tagged by udev as: Tablet [ 711.766] (EE) libinput bug: Device 'Network Tablet' does not meet tablet criteria. Ignoring this device. [ 711.766] (II) input device 'Network Tablet', /dev/input/event13 is a tablet [ 711.796] (II) failed to create input device '/dev/input/event13'. [ 711.796] (EE) libinput: Network Tablet: Failed to create a device for /dev/input/event13 [ 711.796] (EE) PreInit returned 2 for "Network Tablet" [ 711.796] (II) UnloadModule: "libinput"
Everything else works fine, it connects, and the server does receive the input, but since there is no device it doesn’t work. I’ve did tried a restart and to compile the software myself, both to no avail. My guess would be XOrg update breaking stuff, I’m using ubuntu-devel mode (ubuntu version of Debian’s sid), and the XOrg version is
1:7.7+16ubuntu2
