@rfc2822 I’m sorry, I can’t.
But my fantatstic admin was able to!
All is back to normal now, thanks for assistance.
Yes, my screen looks like the left screen – the single CardDAV item “Personal” is checked.
The middle screen showed, on mine lists “DAVdroid”, but not “DAVdroid Address book”.
Did you force-sync the DAVdroid account?
If I pick ‘Add account’, and choose “DAVdroid Address book”, that’s where it freezes.
Please don’t do that. It’s not necessary. It shouldn’t freeze, but do nothing instead. This will be fixed in he next version.
Yes, I pushed the circular Synchronize Now button at the top of DAVdroid, it seems to complete without complaint.
@arfbarky Did you upgrade from an earlier version? If yes – did you try to add the account again? Or to uninstall and re-install DAVdroid?
Brand new install from fdroid store on brand new copperhead os install. I tried deleting and readding the account a couple times. I also created new address books in owncloud and DAVdroid finds them.
@arfbarky Then I don’t know whats wrong.
I have the same behavior: Android 7.1.1 LineageOS 14.1-20170329-NIGTHLY-i9100
Upgraded from CM13 to LineageOS 14.1 with factory reset. Installed DAVDroid 1.5-ose from fdroid.
@rfc2822 Yes, did it. Still no success.
@rfc2822 When I add a new addressbook, executed sync in DAVDroid and then opened the Android contacts view, the following logs were written:
03-31 22:39:03.777 5945-5962/? D/AccountTypeManager: Registering external account type=at.bitfire.davdroid.address_book, packageName=at.bitfire.davdroid
03-31 22:39:03.809 5945-5962/? D/AccountTypeManager: Registering 1 extension packages

03-31 22:39:03.831 5945-5962/? E/ExternalAccountType: Unsupported attribute readOnly
@rfc2822 Works! Thank you!
