Since 16 Jun 2017, Apple enforces app-specific passwords:
This is why access with the account password doesn’t work anymore. This also applies to other apps like Thunderbird etc.
To generate an app-specific password, follow these instructions:
You can then set the account-specific password either in the DAVdroid account settings, or you can delete the DAVdroid account and create it again with the account-specific password.
We have also updated our instructions:
Please let us know if it works for you!
Could solve the problem. It was an issue from upgrading to MIUI 8.3. You have to do a full wipe of the phone.
Here the steps to solve the problem:
Backup the data with Option “Backup & Restore” in the MIUI-Settings (under Additional Settings)
Backup with TWRP
Backup all your data (Music, Pictures, Videos…) - they won’t be in the Xiaomi or TWRP Backup
Do a full wipe of system, data… in TWRP
Install the latest weekly build from xiaomi.eu
Restore from the Xiaomi-Backup
Install DavDroid - and it will work. It even fixed some other issues i had from the upgrades in MIUI
Of course it will be a bit work, but it’s worth anyway. So always make a Backup and a Restore from the Xiaomi-App from time to time…
@smu1 No, Android 4.0 won’t be supported any longer. Android 4.1 was released 5 years ago and there should be a custom ROM for almost every device which doesn’t already have it. Did you have a look for your device?
