By the way, when we’re talking about solutions: Why don’t you just use a host name with only digits, letters and -, as recommended in the DNS standards? To me, this sounds easier and more compatible (also with other applications) than working around years-old Android 4.0.4 behavior with the risk of introducing other problems.
Davdroid + Nextcloud: Phone private & work are the same name ... (german)
I try to add “John Doe, Arbeit 999999, Privat 888888” in Nextcloud
Davdroid syncs it to “John Doe, Festnetz 999999, Festnetz 888888”
Arbeit = work / Privat = Private -> these fields aren’t separated, so I don’t know which number is where to dial.
In google-playstore a lot of people are highly satisfied with davdroid + NC. What am I doing wrong??
