Huh. Why is Android displaying a sync error then? That is outright weird.
I guess I can help with beta testing a little, yeah, but don’t have much free time. But I know how to write bug reports. 😜
Please see log file: http://pastebin.com/nMsunRZp
I’ve trying add second account on latest version from F-Droid. Server is Baikal.
Now I removed all accounts and add new one. Same error.
Trying to add on 1.3, 1.2.3, 1.2 and 22.214.171.124. Same error.
Works only on 0.9.1.3.
Debug info already on pastebin. What else?
Steps to reproduce?
Add new account → Fill credentials → Verifying server → Fill account name → App crash.
@UksusoFF Can’t reproduce that here. Are there any crash details? Do you use OpenTasks? Did you install it before DAVdroid? Which operating system/version do you use? Is there a privacy guard active? Did you disable system apps like the calendar or contacts storage?
More information is required to get an idea what the problem is. Also, please provide debug info.
Maybe it’s a database concurrency problem. I have sometimes received such crash reports, but only for Android 4.0.x (probably because its SQLite doesn’t support WAL yet) and I was never able to reproduce such a problem.
No OpenTask, only contacts sync. Android 4.0.4 stock with removed Google Services. Calendar/Contacts not removed.
What is privacy guard?
Please explain which debug info you need? Debug log from app on pastebin in first post.
Probably catlog will helpful?
Maybe provide test account?
