Hi I am on ubuntu 19.04 I have the application working via sudo ./networktablet command flawlessly, yet I can make desktop icons for ubuntu, but never had to try with a sudo command or any other command to open an application I am new to linux so confused, after scouring forever looking and trying 10’s of ways I cannot get it to open well it does but as a file to edit in a text editor rather than as a sudo terminal command, I really want gfxtablet incorporated in my custom os so I can open it from an icon but need your help please anyone if you can assist in making the app into a desktop icon for ubuntu would be great.
No cursor move

Hello,
I installed the App from the AppStore and compiled the Linux driver. I can use the Tablet to click, but not to move the cursor. If I click on the tabled the uinput driver shows dots in the command-line.
My system:
Ubuntu 12.10
Intel 32 Bit
Resolution 1024x768
Wacom TabletTablet:
Acer A500
Android 4.0.3
Resolution 1280x800 -
I guess that your tablet doesn’t support hovering. Does it work on the tablet itself? To test, you can put your finger over a hover menu on a Web site (but don’t touch the screen).
The dots mean that packets have been received.

Yes, I don’t have hovering. But I hoped that if I touch the screen and move my finger that this movement would be transfered to my PC.
Btw. If I start the App it doesn’t show the resolution, like on this screenshot:
