Hello everybody, DAVDroid lost both of my accounts one time when rebooting, although I installed it from F-Droid and I use CyanogenMod 13.0 (Android 6.0) on my Moto G (falcon). I have got two accounts, one at posteo and one at SOGo (university). The solution so far was to use “DAVDroid Jellybean Workaround”; with that app, I did not have any lost accounts so far. That’s strange, because the workaround app says it would only be needed, if DAVDroid had been installed via Google Play. I just wanted to share that fact, if somebody else gets the same problem. If this problem has been already posted somewhere else, please move / delete it.
Crash on account addition
I updated from 0.9 to version 1.0 yesterday. The upgrade itself went well, but my tasks disappeared. So I decided to reset everything. I deleted OpenTasks and DAVdroid completely.
Now I cant add the account anymore, as DAVdroid crashes.
I also entered a wrong URL at the beginning, which DAVdroid does not recognize and tries for ages finding a working server on the invalid URL. I killed DAVdroid to abort.
I use Radicale, which is fully functional (worked with 0.9 and with Thunderbird/SOGO plugin).
I have identified the missing null pointer check and it will be fixed in the next version.
However, this problem should not occur if you use the correct initial URL which should have a
current-user-principal. Maybe you just need to append a slash (don’t know your Radicale configuration)?
The slash did it. Thanks for fixing the crash!
