Thanks, that worked!
I exported all contacts into a vcf.
Deleted all contacts in the DAVx5 account and reimported from vcf.
Hopefully nothing got lost, can’t check everything in detail.
A bit of a long way round but at least it worked.
@rfc2822, yes, actually, if you please, while I was trying to make my hidden service working, I found, that it may be convenient in such cases to save entry even when it is not valid for now, just marking it as out of sync or something like this. Thus it will be possible to edit such entries later without filling credentials again, you know. Just an idea.
Forget about my issue : I was tired last night
I had imported the VCF first in thunderbird because I didn’t know yet I could do it in davdroid…
So it was the sogo connector that didn’t import correctly the VCF, not davdroid. I imported the VCF directly form davdroid and it’s OK. Great job and sorry for the noise
We’ve never used bitcoin before but why not try and get into it just now… I’ve added the possibility to donate via bitcoin to the website (http://davdroid.bitfire.at) at the bottom of the page. If you still want to donate use the key or QR code there!
Thanks in advance!
I have added support for birthdays with commit 6ee010905e172164b865c0e9c0576d92d1ae7906, but I can’t test it because my Android 4.1 and lower devices don’t show the birthday anyways. Closing this as duplicate of issue #5, please post there.
Generally, it’s possible to sync all properties listed here: https://developer.android.com/reference/android/provider/CalendarContract.html
But it depends on the Android version, and often its not possible to translate the Android values 1:1 to vCard values.
I understand that this feature would be nice to have. However, it’s not the core functionality of DAVdroid and should (and could) be done by another app, so I’m closing thix.
PS: Maybe there are already such apps available
Hello, I think it’s not ready for Fdroid yet but it will soon be. Also, it’s some work to create the Fdroid build files and I didn’t find time for that yet. However I intend to put the app onto Fdroid as soon as it’s ready. Some tests need to be done yet.
Thanks for the hint. The Web site is not ready yet but we will surely add donation buttons.
